Imagine your pictures and Event Information
Each of the templates shown below are a sample of what is out there. Each one will need to be modified to fit your specifications. For example, a template for house maintenance needs all the pictures updated to be your own volksmarch pictures. Each task needs to be written with your functions in mind.
If it is hard for you to picture how the site would look with your stuff on it, let us know and we will do a quick build of the site with your stuff. Of course, you will have to provide your stuff, such as your club logo, pictures of your events, etc. Creating your initial site will take some time, and once it is up and running it will take time and effort on your part to insure the content stays fresh and up to date.
If none of our samples call out to you, feel free to search the entire Internet for 'free responsive templates' and it will be an opportunity for you to spend countless hours looking and imagining and deciding what will work for you. A good site for free HTML templates is Theme Wagon. If you want us to do the work for you, a template you download should only be HTML and CSS. Do not select WordPress, Joomla, flash, or others.

Woodland Wanderers
The Woodland Wanderers web site has a video background for the home page, with a photo background if the screen is not large enough to play the video. On the right is the menu button. Scroll down and find a place for extensive text and perhaps a video or two. Continue down with multiple boxes to highlight important events or clubs. Bluesky Template
The Bluesky Template is a single page, with smooth scrolling down to each section. At the top is a carousel with an optional overlay, then as many sections as required to explain your choices. Sorry for the flipping, it is because the pictures in the carousel are not the same size. Show Template Download

Top level carousel, top menu, Go To Top button shows up when scrolling past the first shown, multiple backgrounds, blog area, personnel area, picture area all with social media hooks. Run Charity Lite Template
Water and mountain background, able to be your picture easily. Top menus. Many clickable areas to jump into the site. Many different eye-catching javascript things. Gallery options. Carousel text in the middle. Expandable FAQ elements, fully customizable. Active contact page. Show Template Download

But the main carousel is a bike rider! Just put your pictures there. Anyway, this has the menu like an app, a single column of photos with text and Read More jumps. Making Photos Work
To manage photos on your web site, they need to be manipulated. Most digital cameras record their photos in terms of 'MegaPixels'. This format is really too large to effectively display on a web site. You need software to make it smaller, to make thumbnails, and you need HTML and CSS to display the photos in different ways. Hover Effects
Not a stand-alone template, but some code that allows you to emphasize photos when the mouse pointer goes over them, including a text popup. Can be included into any of the templates. Show Template Download
