Traditional Event Registration

Get Registered, Go Walk

Each traditional event will have a set period of time for registration. To register, bring $3 and sign the AVA Athletic Waiver at the registration desk. Once paid and signed, you will receive any written directions for the event, or instructions on which markers to watch for your chosen distance.

On the trail, enjoy your surroundings. Take your time. Everyone has sufficient time to complete your chosen distance. Explore the history, see how folks lived in a different era, or simply take a hike in the woods. Each traditional event is unique.

Upon your return, check in at the registration finish table. If you are keeping IVV record books, get them stamped. If you are participating in any AVA or Regional Special Programs, get those books stamped. There may be food and drink available. Spend some time chatting with your hosts and fellow volkssporters. Drive home safely.
