Trail / Event
Description: The 25km ride goes
along the ocean front with a swing through exclusive Rumson and Little
Silver before returning along the shore. The 43/52 Km options visit Sandy
Hook Gateway National Park. Free admission if arriving by bike, where you
may stop for a swim with or without a suit (see route directions). 26 km
route travels north to the entrance of Sandy Hook and retraces back to
start point. Only one event stamp even if completing all routes.

Directions:
Long Branch is
an ocean front town just south of Sandy Hook.
554 Ocean Blvd. Long Branch , NJ (southern end of Long Branch). 7-Eleven Convenience store, 554 Ocean Blvd in the "West End" section of Long Branch. 732-870-1133 From North and South: Garden State Parkway to Exit 105. ** 36 East to 71 South (West Long Branch exit). Do not turn right when 71 continues onto Norwood Ave. Instead, stay straight on Cedar Ave. to the end. Left on Ocean Blvd, 7-11 is on the left. Please park on a side street. From the West: I-195 East which becomes 138 East.
Right onto Route 18 North (Eatontown exit). Exit at 13 B to Route 36 East.
Then follow ** above. |

Comments: Each participant must register at the start where they will select a biking card and route map. Restrooms are available on the boardwalk during season and at Seven Presidents Park all year. Cyclists are reminded to carry water in the summer. Food and drinks are available at the 7-11 store. |
