Trail / Event
Description: 10K distance starts
from the parking garage at Showboat. The trail begins on this famous
boardwalk at the Garden Pier, a cultural haven with its beautiful art
center and historical museum. With the Atlantic Ocean on the left side and
the first in a row of glitzy gambling casinos on the right, the walk
passes restaurants, shops, entertainment centers, the Steel Pier and the
site of the Miss America Pageant - all threaded between streets named in
the famous board game "Monopoly." The trail reaches the doorstep
of Ventnor, NJ turning about at a statue studded mansion and returns the
same way back on the boardwalk. Pets are not allowed on the boardwalk. |
